Hi Robert, re your first question, as both models share the same wing there's nothing in it really. I intentionally leave the equipment choice up to the builder. There's so many umx-type aeroplanes on the market which get badly damaged you can harvest the rc equipment and fit it straight in. Alternatively look at equipment suppliers like Microaces in the UK for an idea of what you need but you do need to keep it light. Hope this helps a bit, cheers.

Take a look at this for the sort of equipment Robert, microaces.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-microaces-aio-aero-flight-pack-frsky-d8-compat-long-prop-shaft any 1s battery up to around 260mAh, the battery weighs 6g, that's 0.2oz. A 2s setup increases the wing loading and therefore speed, the cg on these models is around the 25 to 30%, cheers

Cool idea, those wings are supposed to be super stable, I fear they may not take the abuse that the foamy takes though in trying to get a good result. Keep watching because I have another idea which could just be the answer 🤔👍🏼

I can get the nose out of shot easily in post edit (when I film something decent!) I have another Lidl glider that I've slope soared, I've been thinking of blowing off the dust and fitting a couple of old gyros I got in the spares drawer, definately worth trying I would have thought

Hi Anvil, the doculum beneath it gives it strength, the dope also adds strength but is mainly to fill the pores of the tissue (which it doesn't really need due to the doculum) and to shrink it tight 🙂
